So now we’re cooking with the proverbial gas!  And now I’ve joined the legions of people who proudly call themselves web cartoonists. Its a good feeling.

What can you expect in the days to come here at Baroquen?  A cameo appearance from Sir Robert Walpole?  The latest from actor David Garrick?  References to popular culture?  We’ll find out.  As with everything else, I’m playing this by ear so even I don’t know what’s going on.

Keep reading!  If anything, you can count on hysterical references to the eighteenth century; guaranteed to make you politely laugh and nod your head.
